| About Lenny Del Genio: |
Lenny has been an integral part of the gaming industry for more than three decades. From the mid-80s through the mid-90s he became known as one of Las Vegas' most influential Race and Sports Book directors while heading operations at the Frontier and Bally's. During those years, Lenny made frequent on-camera appearances for ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and most major cable networks, commenting on all major sporting events and gaming trends. Lenny also became known internationally as the unofficial oddsmaker of the Academy Awards and the Emmy Awards. The Del Genio line has been carried yearly by both the AP and Reuters. Lenny has been featured on shows such as Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America, Today Show, NBC Late Night and many other national and international news and entertainment programs. More recently, Lenny has held the position of VP-GM at Bally's in charge of casino development and served as a consultant to Indian Gaming. He later moved on to become General Manager of Racing Services de Mexico, with special responsibilities in international expansion. |
